Shockwave therapy

Shockwave is a sound wave that transmits high energy to a painful place and musculoskeletal tissue in subacute, subchronic and chronic conditions. It stimulates the regeneration and recovery of bone, muscle and other soft tissues. The shock wave is characterized by high amplitude and non-periodicity. The kinetic energy of the projectile created by the compressed air is transmitted via a transmitter, on top of the applicator, to the treated tissue.

Therapeutic effects:
A) generates the formation of blood vessels, buds
B) reduces chronic inflammation
C) stimulates collagen production
D) decomposes calcified fibroblasts - calcifications
E) reduces pain mediators - substance P
F) reduces the sensitivity of trigger points - trigger points for pain syndrome.

It is applied: "jumping knee", painful shoulder, tennis elbow, heel thorn, pain in muscle attachments, chronic tendinopathy, pain in the hip and knee, calcifications of different localization.

Duration of treatment: 3-15 min depending on the treated region, 3-10 sessions are applied at intervals of 2-7 days.
Method of application: labile and stable method.
