Ultrasound examination of soft tissues

Ultrasound is a non-invasive method by which high-frequency sound waves are transmitted to the target areas under the skin and thus diagnose certain diseases and conditions.

Soft tissue ultrasound is used in the diagnosis of injuries or diseases of adipose tissue, tendons, muscles, ligaments, fascia, nerves, blood vessels or synovial membrane.

Application technique: targeted pressure with a linear probe on the area with a previously applied hypoallergenic gel.

Duration of the procedure: 10-30 minutes.
